Importing Studies from PACS

Open the "Import Studies from PACS" Window

Options:

Click the button above the Preview Bar
Go to the "Import Studies from PACS" tab
Click the button on the Toolbar
In the program's top menu, select "Studies", then "Import from"
In the opened menu, select "PACS"

Selecting a PACS

Before starting work with the "Import Studies from PACS" window, select the required PACS from the list in the lower left corner of the window
This list contains those PACS that support Query/Retrieve or QIDO-RS operation (See Configuring Interaction with PACS)

Study List

The window displays a list of studies found in the PACS

Sorting Studies

Click on a column header to sort by that parameter
Click on the column header again to change the sort direction

Searching for Studies

The search panel is located at the top of the window

Numeric and text fields are filled in the usual way
To open additional search fields, click the button
To clear all search fields, click the button
To search for studies by the specified criteria, click the button

By Date

Manual Entry

Enter numbers in the fields with dots (day.month.year).
Clicking on a date field brings up a calendar.
Click sequentially to select month, year, and day.
The forward/back arrows scroll within the specified range.

Selecting a Date Range

1 Day - the current date
2 Days - the previous and current date
Week - one week back from the current date
Month - one month back from the current date
Custom - resets the range parameters and allows manual entry

Additional Filters

These work independently as well as within the selected date range

Patient ID, Patient Name, Accession Number, and Institution are entered manually
Clicking on the Modalities field brings up a list of modalities
Click on the desired one in the list that appears
Multiple modalities can be selected
The "Search from beginning" checkbox allows searching by initial characters. For example, the Patient Name "Johnson" with search from beginning enabled will find studies for "Johnson A" and "Johnson Z"

Study Content

When a single study is selected, the lower half of the window will display its series in the Series table

Loading Selected Studies

After selecting the desired studies, click the "Import" button at the bottom of the window to load them into the Preview Bar and to display them on screen
