Modality Worklist - a mode for displaying information about patients and studies from the Hospital Information System (HIS), for creation using Vidar Dicom Viewer
For example, this could be saving endoscopic videos to PACS, capturing ultrasound machine screens, external PDF protocols, and similar tasks
The Modality Worklist in the application is accessible through the Study Archive window as the "Modality Worklist" tab, if "Join with Working List and Query/Retrieve" is checked in Program Settings
Click the column header again to change the sort direction
Selecting PACS
Before starting work with the worklist, select the required PACS from the list in the lower left corner of the window
This list contains the PACS systems that support Modality Worklist operation

Updating the List
To monitor for new entries during work, click the Refresh button
Searching for a Worklist Item
Click the Search button and enter search data
Clicking the modality field calls up a modality list
Click the desired one in the appeared list
Numeric and text fields (AETITLE, ID, etc.) are filled in the usual way
To clear all search fields, click the button
Date Search
Manual Entry
Enter numbers in the fields with dots (day.month.year)
Clicking a date field calls up a calendar
Click sequentially to select month, year, and day
Forward/back arrows scroll within the set range
Selecting a Date Range
1 Day - current date
2 Days - previous and current date
Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow
Week - one week back from the current date
Month - one month back from the current date
Custom - resets range parameters and allows manual entry
In this case, the study's registration data will already be filled in; you can edit them
Worklist items are stored in the HIS.
Typically, they are deleted after a study is created based on the worklist item and sent to PACS
There are situations where items are not deleted this way
In this case, a study may first be created for one worklist item,
and then new images and other data may be added to this same study later
