All program studies are stored in the Archive
In this section you can manage the location and size of the Archive on your hard drive
Archive
Folder Path
Specify the folder for the Archive Location
A standard Windows directory selection dialog will open
It is not recommended to specify removable storage media or network drives
This will critically slow down the program's performance

For large Archives, calculating statistics may take a significant amount of time, the "Size:" result will appear with a significant delay
At the bottom - a button to open the Archive folder in Explorer and a button to check Archive integrity Attention! Archive integrity check is a service function and takes a long time
Auto-delete Old Studies
Use this function to prevent the local hard disk from filling up only if a PACS system, such as Vidar 3, is available
Attention! When changing auto-deletion settings, all studies exceeding the specified parameters will be deleted
Activate the function by left-clicking on
Set the minimum free disk space
Set the maximum number of studies stored in the Archive
The program will automatically delete studies with the oldest Archive date (FIFO)
Show Archive at Program Startup
Check the box if you want the Archive window to open when the program starts
This mode is convenient for working as a local workstation,
in the absence of the Vidar3 PACS
If the checkbox next to this item is checked, all Finds will be saved in the Archive
This allows saving the work and returning to it after an unlimited time
Hide When Loading a Study
If the checkbox next to this item is checked, measurements will be saved in the Finds List, but will not be displayed on the image
To view previously performed measurements, they must be called up manually from the Finds List
Display in Preview Bar
If the checkbox next to this item is checked, a special series with a list of all findings will appear in the Preview Bar (if Findings exist)
It is located at the end of the study in the Preview Bar
Image Processing
Save
If the checkbox next to this item is checked, image modes (geometric transformations, etc.) will be saved in the Archive
This allows saving the work and returning to it after an unlimited time
The following are saved:
Zoom and Shift
2D rotations
Brightness and Contrast
3D cursor position
Moving the Image Archive to Another Drive
Find out the current Archive Location, open the folder in Explorer (see above - folder path)
Close the Vidar DICOM Viewer program
Move the contents of the Archive folder to the new location in Explorer
