Select the folder from which movies and images will be loaded After creating a study, the original files from the source image and video folder will be deleted!
For integration with the "Vidar Video Capture" program, the source folder for VDV should point to the folder where captured videos and images are saved
If a scanner is connected to the computer, its name will be displayed in the list
If the list is empty even after clicking the "Refresh list" button - check the connection to the scanner
The checkbox next to "Mark new images and videos" will allow ignoring previously imported ones
Specify the thumbnail size and the criteria for displaying the date on the thumbnail
Specify the modality type and encoding
Notes:
The user-entered study date and time will be saved in the DICOM tags StudyDate, code (0008,0020) and StudyTime, code (0008,0030)
The DICOM file creation date and time will be saved in the tags
InstanceCreationDate, code (0008,0012) and InstanceCreationTime, (0008,0013)
The program can be configured so that a new study is immediately transferred to the PACS archive
Click the "Tag List" button and specify which tags will be deleted during default anonymization, and which will be cleared
A deleted tag will not be visible on screen, a "cleared" tag will be represented only by its name, without the parameter value
Example:
Patient Name: Jon I.I.
If deleted, this item will not exist; if cleared - Patient Name:, without indicating the name itself
Finalyzing of the Study
Allows automating the study completion step and sending it to PACS
Specify the completion method
If manual, a button for manual study completion will appear in the study header in the Preview Bar
If the checkbox next to "Send to PACS" is checked and the addresses are correctly specified, the new study will be automatically transferred to PACS
We do not recommend unchecking the box next to "Confirmation of the Completion of the Study"
This will help avoid errors when adding material to the study
