Image Calibration

Setting up Calibration Objects

Image calibration can only be performed on 2D images
Place an object with known parameters (e.g., a matchbox, a clip, etc.) next to the organ
This object will serve as the calibrator
Find the "Calibration" button in the tool panel or in the program menu (Item - Tools) and click on it
Click on the "Edit" item
In the window that appears, click on the "Add calibrator (calibration object)" button:
Enter the name and size (in mm) of the calibration object
Confirm your actions by clicking the "OK" buttons
The calibrator can be deleted from the list, or its name and size can be modified

Click the "Calibration" button

In the list that appears, click on the name of the created calibrator
Measure the calibrator on the image
The image scale will be set
An active "Calibration" overlay indicating the calibrator name will appear in the lower right corner of the image

Find the "Calibration" button in the tool panel or in the program menu (Item - Tools) and click on it
In the menu that appears, click on the "Custom..." item
Specify the dimensions of an element with known parameters on the image in mm and click the OK button
Note: You can immediately add the calibrator to the calibrator list - click the checkbox in front of the "Save" item, enter a name in the field
Mark the calibrator on the image with two clicks, at the beginning and at the end
The image will be calibrated according to the entered parameter
An active "Calibration" overlay indicating the calibrator size in mm will appear in the lower right corner

The active "Calibration" overlay appears on:

non-digital images whose size data is missing from the tags (e.g., scanned ones)
images calibrated by the user
