Program Additional Settings

Click the button in the lower right corner of the main Settings window
The additional settings window will appear

Settings

Shows the location of all program Settings files, opens Explorer to the Settings directory
When updating the program, previous Settings are preserved and imported automatically
The forced import/export Settings functions are useful for transferring settings from computer to computer
For example, film printer or overlay settings

Transferring Settings to Another Computer

Click the Export button
Click the checkboxes for the settings you want to transfer
Click the Ok button and specify the location to save the settings file
Transfer the settings file to another computer
Launch VDV on the other computer, open Settings/Additional
Click the Import button, specify the Settings file
The settings from the file will be loaded into the program on the other computer

Logging

Manual Editing of the Main Program Settings File

Click next to the Program Settings file path
Edit it manually
For more information on the logging settings file syntax, see http://log4cpp.sourceforge.net
For the settings to take effect, a program restart is required

Setting Debug Mode

Debug mode is necessary only in case of program malfunctions, to send log files to PO Vidar LLC programmers
By default, debug mode is disabled

Click the button
Click the "Debug mode: DEBUG" item in the appeared list
Click the "OK" button, then - the "Save" button in the main Program Settings window, restart the program

Now all manipulations in the program will be saved in log files

Note:
If DEBUG mode is set for program debugging purposes, don't forget to return it to "Debug disabled" after finishing information collection!
Otherwise, the log file size will be very large

In Case of Program Malfunctions:

Preparing to send a log file:
- Switch to "Debug mode: DEBUG", as described above
  Don't forget to restart the program!
- Repeat in the program the actions that led to the errors
Saving the log file:
- In the program menu, click sequentially: Help - Save log files...
- Go back to this Additional Settings window
- Click the button next to the "Log files" item
- Choose the location for the archive with log files and remember it
Sending the log file
- Send the obtained zip file to med@povidar.ru along with a description of the problem
  PO Vidar LLC programmers will try to solve the problem as soon as possible

Associations

Click the Associate with Dicom files for the current user button to register the program as a handler for *.dcm files (for the current user)

MPR

Click the button to enable the MPR debug service mode
For engineers only!

Encodings

Allows changing default encodings when text is displayed incorrectly

Save Window Positions

Remembers the position and size of all windows in the program, similar to Configuring Window Sizes and Positions
Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L
